The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic is opening at Epic Universe in 2025!
Here are the details for the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic
This new land will be opening at Epic Universe in 2025. All art rendition photos are provided by Universal Orlando.
Ministry of Magic Attraction at Epic Universe
Firstly, let’s talk about the newest attraction.
We will travel from the 1920s Paris to the 1990s British ministry via the Floo Network.
Straightaway, we will enter a full-scale Ministry of Magic.
At this point, we will board a lift with Harry, Ron, and Hermione to view the trial of Dolores Umbridge.
Undoubtedly, she will escape and we will have to stop her!
Universal Creative has stated that this attraction will use “first of its kind” ride technology in an omnidirectional ride vehicle.
Obviously, I am very excited about this!
This ride will have a ride height of 40” (That means my 5-year-old can ride and I’m so excited!)
New Live Show
As can be seen above, there will be a live show called Le Cirque Arcanus.
This will be a live stage show inspired by the circus featured in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
We will experience live performers, aerialists, amazing puppetry, brilliant special effects, and altogether, fantastic beasts.
Shopping in Wizarding World: Ministry of Magic
Of course, what is a Wizarding World without Magic?
Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique will be a new shopping destination for a selection of wands.
These wands will be packaged in a unique three-sided box containing locations throughout the Wizarding World to practice your magic and spell casting.
The ability to do spell casting and magic has always been a huge draw to the Wizarding World locations at Universal. This is something that my kids love and is fun for adults.
What is Paris without shops?
Guests will have the option to shop Ministry of Magic-inspired items at the Tour en Floo gift shop and Les Galeries Mirifiques which will include wizarding gear and memorabilia.
If you know me, then you’ll know that I am obviously looking forward to the K. Rammelle confectionery shop for a sweet treat or pastry!
Dining at Wizarding World: Ministry of Magic
Likewise in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, there will be several dining and beverage options.
You can enjoy French-inspired cuisine at Café L’air De La Sirène. There will be the option to dine inside or out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Bar Moonshine is a watering hole filled with “wizarding Americana” and exclusive drink offerings.
There will be a butterbeer cart that will serve our favorite “Bieraubuerre”.
Le Goblet Noir is a mysterious tavern for dark wizards and witches.
Universal describes it as “a mysterious timeworn auberge, where international Dark witches and wizards gather to escape prying eyes of the Paris Ministry and have a hearty meal over hushed conversation.”
